END OF FIRST SESSION
PHOTOORAPHIC MEMO
Your cataloguer is fully aware of the fact that several of the illustrations
are over-size. Among these are the 1907 U. S. Double Eagles and the 1935
Gold Commemorative of Great Britain.
These are unfortunate errors, but it is better to have them too large
than too small. It was caused by our photo developer and printer. As he
was enlarging and printing from 35mm negatives, he simply did not hit
accurately the gauge or guide lines on which each piece was photographed.
With time pressures we were forced to use the larger pictures in order not
to delay the final printing and mailing of this catalog. We will improve
next time.

show us many pieces which are avidly sought by intelligent collectors, but
which have the same status as do these issues carrying the name of Andorra.
